Firstly thank you for visiting my web page and hopefully viewing some of my images – and maybe even liking some of them too.

My name is Tom Fincher, im an architectural technologist based in Perth on the east coast of Scotland. Photography is an interest that combines my love for the great outdoors with that of capturing some of the natural beauty that surrounds us.



Tom FincherI developed an interest in photography in 2006 as a way of capturing some of the amazing landscapes I used to encounter for 3 years while travelling to the Isle of Skye for work. No matter what the season the scenery was spectacular and changed constantly. I enrolled on 2 photography courses at Perth College to enhance my skills and learn the basics of digital photography and from that point I haven’t looked back.

I try to get out with my camera at least once a week trying anything from landscapes, to macro to capturing the smooth flow of a waterfall. It’s a great way to switch the head off from the buzz of work!

I hope that my love and passion for photography is captured in my images and that you to can share in some of the natural beauty that is around us all the time.
